Judith’s work is in collections in the United States, Israel, and Europe. She is listed in Who’s Who in America; as one of the Outstanding People of the 20th and 21st. centuries. She is represented by Portrait Brokers, Inc., and Portraits South. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Judith gives workshops on pastel and portraiture all over the country and in Europe.”An essential skill for an artist is to be able to work from life. Even if using photos as references, the artist needs to have sketches from life and/or the knowledge of what flesh tones look like in natural light in order to create a life-like work that doesn’t have the tell-tale white-tan-orange-brown-black flesh tones of work copied from photos. To be able to do those important reference sketches from life – and to be able to draw and paint children and animals from life – it is necessary to be able to work fast and to be a good “reporter” – that is, to be able accurately to represent what is before our eyes.”
